Tomorrow, the European Parliament will debate its annual report on Turkey. I have been given speaking time, and I have decided to use this opportunity to highlight the ongoing shameful church confiscations by Turkish authorities in Turabdin.
The plenary debate will start tomorrow Wednesday after 15.00 and will be streamed live here.
I have written a letter to all members of the European Parliament, urging them to use whatever possibilities they havet to protest against Turkey’s church confiscation.
Download the letter in pdf here.
I encourage everyone to contact the Europan Parliament members of your home countries to make them aware of the plight of Syriacs/Assyrians in Turkey and to encourage them to makee cries from Turabdin heard during tomorrow’s debate in Strasbourg.
